I have just started plotting a Very Large Thing taking place post-"Principles". I'd promised myself I wasn't going to do that.
Clearly I lied, because I cannot say when, but it's going to be novella-length. It's going to be, period.
Plotting a story is like naming a stray: once you have, you're attached.
Why does inspiration always strike when it's least convenient?

Date: 2009-02-18 08:01 am (UTC)I, for one, am deeply pleased by this. :P
Also, I completely forgot to comment on your story the other day (life was being rowdy) but may I just tell you now how much I adored it? :)
Very in-character for your verse; I loved the little details, all the descriptions of body language in both man and daemon.
It was concise and beautiful and, as all your pieces do, left me longing for more. :)
I do believe I mem-ed it. :)

Date: 2009-02-18 08:27 am (UTC)Thank you so much for commenting on my latest piece; I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Body language is among the most intricate parts of this 'verse, and can be tricky to work with when each character comprises two bodies, so I'm always thrilled to hear it's come out well. And coming up with "the little details" is, for me, the most fulfilling part of the process.
I expect to have my hands full between school, other fics-in-progress, and the germinating Very Large Thing, which by itself will demand quite a bit of time and ambition. But there will someday be more, and I'll go on posting updates as the occur.
